Winter School Theme: Probing Atomic Nuclei: From Nuclear Structure to Stellar
Nucleosynthesis

Winter School Fee: R730.00 (including all meals, workshop supplies and any transport required to and from the University of the Western Cape)

Location: iThemba LABS

Max number of participants: 50 students 

 

The one-day winter school will be held at iThemba LABS, Africa’s premier laboratory for accelerator-based science. Lectures will be presented by scientists who are engaged in cutting-edge research at the facility, on a range of topics in fundamental and applied nuclear science. The school will also provide interactive tours of the various experimental facilities at the laboratory.
