Natural calcite exhibits different electron trap structures based on the source. This study presents thermoluminescence (TL) and phototransferred thermoluminescence of naturally occurring Zambian calcite. EDS indicated Zambian calcite to comprise calcium, carbon and oxygen. The TL glow curve of the calcite comprised four peaks around 80, 152, 296 and 474 oC respectively labelled as T1, T2, T3...

The development of economical and efficient nanomaterial for enhancement of hydrogen production requires tuning of surface and electronic properties to facilitate optimal attachment of hydrogen ion, transfer of electrons and desorption of H2 gas. This tuning process may be experimentally uneconomical in terms of cost and time. Computational approach ensures proper utilization of these...

ABSTRACT
Recent progress in the design of porous active photothermal materials with salt-resistant properties for interfacial solar-driven steam generation has garnered significant attention. These novel materials have shown significant potential in the development of next-generation solar evaporation systems with a wide range of water purification via the desalination process. In this...
