DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Bahati Mukeru\n\nThe symposium will bring together r
 esearchers from Brazil and South Africa working across a broad range of ar
 eas in theoretical\, experimental\, and computational physics. Its main go
 al is to strengthen scientific collaboration between the participating ins
 titutions by providing an environment in which researchers\, postgraduate 
 students\, and postdoctoral fellows can exchange ideas\, identify common i
 nterests\, and develop new joint activities. Particular emphasis will be p
 laced on fostering South–South collaboration\, promoting the exchange of
  students and researchers\, and creating opportunities for joint supervisi
 on\, research visits\, and collaborative projects.The scientific programme
  will cover topics ranging from nuclear and few-body physics to hadronic s
 ystems\, solid-state physics\, astrophysics\, and cosmology\, with particu
 lar interest in the exchange of theoretical\, mathematical\, computational
 \, and experimental methods across different fields. Rather than focusing 
 on a narrowly defined subject\, the symposium is intended to encourage int
 eractions between research groups and explore connections that may lead to
  new collaborations.\nThe symposium aims to:\n\nStrengthen collaboration a
 mong researchers in experimental\, theoretical\, and computational nuclear
  and atomic physics\nFoster South–South scientific collaboration between
  Brazil and Africa\nPromote the exchange of students and researchers betwe
 en the participating institutions\nIntegrate postgraduate students and pos
 tdoctoral fellows into the collaboration\nExplore opportunities for joint 
 student supervision\, research visits\, and collaborative projects\nEstabl
 ish the symposium as a recurring forum for scientific exchange between Sou
 th Africa and Brazil\n\nThe symposium will focus on the following main the

 Nuclear structure and reactions: theory and applications\nExotic hadronic 
 systems\nAstrophysics and cosmology\nFew-body physics methods: mathematica
