Description
The two-variable few-body integrodifferential equations approach is reviewed by
implementing boundary conditions in hyperangular domain. In addition, a novel
procedure of including effects of higher partial waves of the interaction potential
is suggested. The revised integrodifferential equations approach reproduces results
obtained using an exact method for few-boson systems. These results suggest that
many-body correlations are negligibly small in systems with short range interactions
and that effect of higher partial waves are adequately accounted for by the revised
hypercentral potential.
